Description

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including MSAs, SOWs, SLAs, vendor agreements, and NDAs.
  • Provide business-focused legal advice on UK and EU contract law and commercial best practices.
  • Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of contract templates, playbooks, and legal processes.
  • Collaborate with operational, commercial, clinical, and leadership teams to deliver pragmatic legal guidance across the business.
  • Advise on legal and regulatory requirements relevant to the UK and EU, including GDPR, AI, advertising and marketing standards, and technology regulations.
  • Help manage legal risk while supporting the company’s commercial objectives across UK and European operations.

Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor or barrister in England & Wales with 5–10 years of post-qualification experience in a law firm or in-house legal role preferred.
  • Applicants qualified only in EU jurisdictions may be considered if they have compelling UK commercial experience.
  • Strong experience negotiating and drafting software/SaaS commercial contracts, license agreements, services agreements, technology agreements, vendor contracts, and similar agreements.
  • Experience working in the healthcare or health tech space, especially on commercial contracts, is a plus.
  • Solid in-house legal experience in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment.
  • Ability to provide pragmatic, commercially minded legal solutions.
  • Excellent drafting skills, strong attention to detail, and analytical capabilities.
  • Proactive, collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment.
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Proficiency in data security, data privacy, and AI regulations is a plus.

  • £85,602 - £134,518 a year, including base, variable, and equity.
