Description

  • Work with suppliers on product development, production, supplier compliance, and logistics.
  • Track and monitor purchase orders (POs) to ensure suppliers meet agreed delivery deadlines.
  • Schedule factory audits with a third-party auditor and monitor results with the Category Manager/lead.
  • Order development samples and monitor feedback to inform product decisions.
  • Collect SKU data from suppliers and coordinate updates to product detail pages (PDPs) with internal team members.
  • Attend and participate in cross-functional team meetings and send recaps of action items.
  • Analyze competitors’ assortments to identify gaps in SupplyHouse’s product offering.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and handle daily supplier requests.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Business, Merchandising, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Available for the full 10-week internship (June 1 – August 7) and able to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. ET.
  • Able to attend the on-site internship meeting in Melville, NY on July 14–15 (reasonable travel expenses reimbursed).
  • Live in, or be willing to relocate to, one of the eligible states: AZ, DE, FL, GA, KY, NV, NJ, NY, NC, OH, RI, SC, TN, TX, VA, or WA.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship (SupplyHouse will not sponsor work visas).
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organization and time-management skills, and the ability to quickly execute assigned tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team, and maintain a distraction-free remote workspace.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks as part of the hiring process.
