Description

  • Build the knowledge layer that underpins Superside's AI agents and enables brand understanding beyond document retrieval.
  • Design how brand knowledge is represented, stored, and continuously updated for reliable AI reasoning.
  • Develop agentic search capabilities that let systems identify knowledge gaps and navigate information dynamically.
  • Evaluate and improve architectures for knowledge retrieval and reasoning when current approaches break down.
  • Translate emerging AI research and patterns into production-ready systems that improve output quality and reliability.
  • Work closely with product and AI engineering teams to ensure infrastructure improvements translate into better user experiences.
  • Own outcomes across the workstream and communicate clearly when approaches are not working.
  • Follow the problem across boundaries between engineering, product, and AI architecture as needed.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in high-performance engineering environments.
  • Experience at companies working on enterprise AI, legal AI, or knowledge-intensive agent systems is preferred.
  • Proven experience building agentic workflows and RAG systems in production.
  • Experience focused on trustworthy and reliable AI output, not just functional systems.
  • Deep understanding of how language models represent and use knowledge beyond prompt engineering and standard retrieval patterns.
  • Thoughtful experience with memory architectures, reasoning under uncertainty, and dynamic retrieval.
  • Experience with LangChain or LangGraph, or equivalent tools for building multi-agent systems.
  • Strong Python skills, ideally with FastAPI.
  • Hands-on experience with a major cloud data platform such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks.
  • Strong opinions about where current AI approaches break down, grounded in production experience.
  • Curiosity about brand intelligence, creative judgment, and how to encode knowledge that was never explicitly written down.
