Description

  • Lead card pricing strategy by defining pricing principles, driving pricing decisions, and operationalizing those decisions with pricing, finance, marketing, and GTM teams.
  • Work with engineering and data science to build observability into pricing, margin, and revenue realization, and translate insights into pricing recommendations.
  • Design and implement processes for competitive analysis and regular pricing audits, and partner with engineering/data science to automate pricing workflows over time.
  • Identify and evaluate new pricing models by working backwards from customers, building business cases, designing tests, and scaling validated models.
  • Build margin and revenue monitoring and alerting systems, leveraging data, ML/GenAI, and analytics to inform decisions and detect issues.
  • Meet with internal and external customers and stakeholders to gather input and align pricing initiatives with customer needs and business goals.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally (Engineering, Design, Data Science, GTM, Pricing, Marketing, PMs, Operations) to drive flawless execution of product and pricing initiatives.
  • Act as the subject-matter expert and primary point of contact across Stripe for card pricing and related GTM processes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a product role.
  • 3+ years of experience in Pricing.
  • Proven experience collaborating effectively with engineering, product, data science, and cross-functional teams, including working with GTM teams in a B2B sales environment.
  • Strong data analysis, instrumentation, and measurement skills with the ability to derive insights and make data-driven decisions; experience working with ML/data science teams and SQL proficiency is helpful (preferred).
  • Proven track record delivering continuous product improvements and launching 0→1 products.
  • Experience in Payments or working with Card Networks or banking partners (preferred).
  • Experience managing and growing platform products (preferred).
  • Experience overseeing operational processes or managing operational teams (preferred).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts and deliver high-impact presentations to executive audiences.
  • Ownership mindset, persistence, and the ability to thrive with a high level of autonomy and responsibility.
