Description

  • Lead content strategy for agentic products and define how Spotify communicates through LLMs.
  • Set voice, personality, and tone standards for personalized and generative experiences.
  • Build content frameworks used by composition and engineering teams.
  • Design, author, and evaluate prompts and system instructions for generative features.
  • Create reusable prompt templates, experiments, and guardrails with product, engineering, and safety teams.
  • Write and iterate on in-product copy, help text, error states, onboarding, notifications, tooltips, and naming.
  • Partner with product managers, designers, researchers, and engineers to translate user and business needs into content requirements.
  • Participate in discovery, design critiques, and localization planning.
  • Design and run human-in-the-loop evaluations with engineers.
  • Define quality standards for AI-generated text and use feedback to tune model performance.

Requirements

  • Experience as a content designer and UX writer with a portfolio demonstrating complex problem solving through language.
  • Background in conversation design and character development, including applied voice and tone guidelines.
  • Hands-on experience working with LLMs, prompt design, and evaluation.
  • Understanding of zero-shot and few-shot prompting and how to iterate for tone and accuracy.
  • Ability to work through ambiguity and collaborate across multiple teams and subject areas.
  • Experience designing complex flows across multiple states, surfaces, or systems.
  • Bonus: Experience with LLM-as-a-Judge frameworks or evaluation scaling.
  • Bonus: Basic scripting experience for testing prompts in notebooks.
  • Bonus: Native or near-native proficiency in a second language.
