Description

  • Conduct one-on-one and small-group remote SAT tutoring across Reading and Writing, Math Module 1, and Math Module 2.
  • Administer a full-length diagnostic test for each new student and create a week-by-week preparation plan tied to target scores and test dates.
  • Teach SAT content and strategy together in each session, including algebra, advanced mathematics, reading comprehension, grammar, pacing, and elimination techniques.
  • Assign, review, and adjust targeted homework, section drills, problem sets, and full-length practice tests based on student performance.
  • Track student progress and adapt instruction to drive measurable weekly score improvement.
  • Maintain regular parent communication with section-level data, score trends, focus areas, and next-step recommendations.
  • Lead final-week test preparation, including pacing strategy, anxiety management, and test-day routines.
  • Work with motivated student-athletes preparing for competitive college admissions.

Requirements

  • Proven SAT tutoring methodology developed through substantial experience.
  • Verifiable record of significant, repeatable SAT score gains.
  • Ability to explain specific student prep plans and the reasoning behind instruction decisions.
  • Direct-teaching, live-diagnosis approach to instruction; homework is supportive, not the primary method.
  • Working expertise in the current digital SAT, including Bluebook, adaptive module mechanics, scoring, and College Board question patterns.
  • Commitment to staying current as the SAT evolves.
  • Personal SAT score of 1500+ or 99th-percentile equivalent on the ACT or legacy SAT, with verification available.
  • Dedicated remote workspace with reliable internet, a second monitor, and a document camera or tablet for live problem-solving.
  • U.S. work authorization and U.S.-based remote availability.
  • Preferred experience tutoring student-athletes or students with demanding training schedules.
  • Preferred verifiable score reports, testimonials, or references from prior families.
  • Working understanding of college admissions timelines and the role of standardized testing.
  • Preferred proprietary SAT materials, drills, or a refined methodology developed over time.
