Description

  • Support the structure of Art Directors, Leads, and subject matter experts to ensure coverage across all art production disciplines.
  • Oversee art projects and final deliverables to ensure they meet client requirements and internal quality standards.
  • Manage Art Directors and Associate Art Directors, including setting roadmaps, goals, and providing mentorship.
  • Oversee the art estimation process for new opportunities and scope changes in existing projects.
  • Enable top talent in the department to participate in client interactions and pitch preparation.
  • Set and maintain department standards and audit internal processes.
  • Ensure development workflows are aligned with the needs of specific projects.
  • Host regular meetings to communicate strategy and promote knowledge sharing and internal learning events.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in a senior art leadership role within the AAA games industry.
  • Ability to define department structures, grades, and skill sets for art disciplines.
  • Strong experience mentoring Art Directors and managing senior-level talent.
  • Experience with project estimation, budget oversight, and refining production workflows.
  • High proficiency in English for client-facing calls and internal strategy discussions.
  • Understanding of modern engines, tools, and hardware requirements for art production.
