Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs, including public TTS APIs and internal services for payments, subscriptions, authentication, and consumption tracking.
  • Oversee and optimize the backend API landscape for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Build and maintain backend services that support new products, analytics, subscriptions, and text-to-speech functionality.
  • Collaborate on B2B solutions, including customization and integration needs for enterprise clients.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience.
  • Contribute to product decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Help shape backend systems that meet both business and scalability requirements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in backend development with TypeScript/Node.js (required).
  • Direct experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and impact and move quickly from ideation to implementation.
  • Experience with Docker and containerized deployments (preferred).
  • Experience deploying highly available applications on Kubernetes (preferred).
  • Strong technical skills and solid communication skills.
  • Comfort working in a 100% distributed, asynchronous environment.
