Description

  • Lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS app.
  • Ship production code for the Speechify iOS application.
  • Work within a dedicated product team to deliver new features and improvements.
  • Participate in product discussions and help shape the product roadmap.
  • Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and designers on product direction.
  • Balance speed and focus in a fast-paced, remote startup environment.

Requirements

  • Experience building products that have scaled to a large user base.
  • Track record of working on products from inception through meaningful traction.
  • Experience owning engineering work for a product.
  • Strong customer focus and product thinking.
  • Ability to work quickly and make sound decisions about what to ship now versus later.
  • Ability to stay focused and communicate effectively in a busy remote team.
  • Swift programming experience.
  • SwiftUI experience.
  • Experience with multithreading programming.
  • Experience working with CI/CD infrastructure and Fastlane.
  • Understanding of SOLID principles and writing classes according to SOLID.
  • Experience with Git and different Git strategies.
