Description

  • Lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS app.
  • Actively ship production code for Speechify’s iOS app.
  • Work within a dedicated product team to deliver new features and improvements.
  • Participate in product discussions to help shape the product roadmap.
  • Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and designers to guide product direction.
  • Contribute to fast-paced development cycles and decide what should ship now versus later.

Requirements

  • Experience building products that have scaled to a large user base.
  • Track record of working on products from inception through meaningful traction.
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to delivering an excellent user experience.
  • Product thinking and the ability to make thoughtful product decisions.
  • Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced, high-growth remote environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage appropriately in a distributed team.
  • Technical skills in Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Experience with multithreaded programming.
  • Experience working with CI/CD infrastructure and Fastlane.
  • Experience with Git and different Git strategies.
  • Strong understanding of SOLID principles.
  • Portfolio and LinkedIn links requested with application.
  • Preferred familiarity with iOS app development at scale.
