Description

  • Lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS app.
  • Actively ship production code for the Speechify iOS app.
  • Work within a dedicated product team to deliver new features and improvements.
  • Participate in product discussions to shape the product roadmap.
  • Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture.
  • Support growth in the app’s user base through ongoing product development.

Requirements

  • Experience building products that have scaled to a large user base.
  • Track record of working on products from inception to meaningful traction.
  • Experience being responsible for engineering a product.
  • Strong customer obsession and focus on delivering the best possible user experience.
  • Product thinking and the ability to make thoughtful product evolution decisions.
  • Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced startup environment and prioritize what ships now versus later.
  • Comfort working in a remote, high-growth team and knowing when to engage or work independently.
  • Technical skills in Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Experience with multithreading programming.
  • Experience working with CI/CD infrastructure.
  • Experience with Fastlane.
  • Understanding of SOLID principles and writing classes according to SOLID.
  • Experience with Git and different Git strategies.
