Description

  • Lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS app.
  • Ship production code for Speechify’s iOS application.
  • Work within a dedicated product team to build and improve features.
  • Participate in product discussions and help shape the product roadmap.
  • Maintain and enhance the existing app architecture.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and designers to guide product direction.
  • Support the app’s growth by contributing to new and ongoing engineering initiatives.

Requirements

  • Experience building products that have scaled to a large user base.
  • Track record of working on products from inception to meaningful traction.
  • Experience being responsible for engineering a product.
  • Strong customer obsession and focus on delivering the best possible user experience.
  • Product thinking with the ability to make thoughtful decisions about product evolution.
  • Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced, high-growth, remote startup environment.
  • Ability to balance urgency with knowing what can ship now versus what needs more time.
  • Swift programming language experience.
  • SwiftUI experience.
  • Experience with multithreading programming, CI/CD infrastructure, Fastlane, Git, and Git strategies.
  • Understanding of SOLID principles and writing classes according to SOLID.
  • Portfolio and LinkedIn links requested with the application.
