Description

  • Lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS app.
  • Ship production code for the Speechify iOS app.
  • Work closely within a dedicated product team.
  • Participate in product discussions to shape the product roadmap.
  • Maintain and improve the app’s existing complex architecture.
  • Contribute to building new features and supporting the app’s growing user base.

Requirements

  • Experience building products that have scaled to a large user base.
  • Track record of taking products from inception to meaningful traction and owning the engineering work.
  • Strong product thinking and ability to make thoughtful product decisions.
  • Ability to work quickly, prioritize effectively, and balance speed with long-term needs.
  • Ability to stay focused and operate effectively on a busy remote team.
  • Swift programming experience.
  • SwiftUI experience.
  • Experience with multithreading programming.
  • Experience working with CI/CD infrastructure.
  • Experience with Fastlane.
  • Understanding of SOLID principles and writing classes accordingly.
  • Experience with Git and different Git strategies.
