Description

  • Lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS app.
  • Actively ship production code for the Speechify iOS application.
  • Work within a dedicated product team to deliver features and improvements.
  • Participate in product discussions to shape the roadmap.
  • Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and designers on product direction.
  • Contribute to a fast-paced, remote-first development process.

Requirements

  • Experience building products that have scaled to a large user base.
  • Track record of working on products from inception to meaningful traction.
  • Experience owning the engineering of a product or major product area.
  • Strong customer obsession and product-thinking mindset.
  • Ability to work quickly and prioritize what should ship now versus later.
  • Comfort working in a busy, distributed startup environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Technical skills in Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Experience with multithreading programming.
  • Experience working with CI/CD infrastructure and Fastlane.
  • Knowledge of SOLID principles and writing classes accordingly.
  • Experience with Git and different Git strategies.
