Description

  • Lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS app.
  • Ship production code for Speechify’s iOS app.
  • Work within a dedicated product team to deliver new features and improvements.
  • Participate in product discussions and help shape the product roadmap.
  • Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture.
  • Support the app’s growth by serving a large and expanding user base.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and designers on product direction.

Requirements

  • Experience building products that have scaled to a large user base.
  • Track record of working on products from inception to meaningful traction and owning engineering for the product.
  • Strong customer obsession and commitment to delivering the best possible user experience.
  • Product thinking with the ability to make thoughtful decisions about product evolution.
  • Ability to work quickly, prioritize what can ship now, and balance speed with quality.
  • Ability to stay focused and operate effectively on a busy remote team.
  • Swift programming experience.
  • SwiftUI experience.
  • Experience with multithreading programming.
  • Experience working with CI/CD infrastructure.
  • Experience with Fastlane.
  • Understanding of SOLID principles and ability to apply them in class design.
  • Experience with Git and different Git strategies.
