Description

Select and use standard gauges to verify quality and feature tolerances.
Set up Romer ARM or CMM equipment to perform the required inspections.
Identify engineering, design, and GD&T issues that create ambiguity in manufacturing and inspection.
Work with the team to implement process improvements.
Build awareness of quality policies and procedures to support team goals.
Interpret engineering drawings, drawing notes, dimensions, and GD&T requirements.
Spot and resolve interpretation issues related to tolerances and evaluation requirements.
Help teammates exceed expectations in their roles.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
5+ years of CMM inspection experience.
Experience programming multi-sensing CMMs such as vision, laser, and touch probe systems.
Ability to assist in designing and developing quality gauging to improve efficiency.
Understanding of ISO 9001.
Ability to read and understand drawing criteria, GD&T, notes, and tolerances.
Experience setting up CMM or Romer Arm equipment.
Ability to determine the correct tool needed to complete each job.
Must be able to work 3rd shift, approximately 10:30pm–7:00am.
Must be able to work overtime hours and weekends when needed to meet critical deadlines.
Must be able to lift 25 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks, including standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, crawling, and working in tight spaces.
Must be able to use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and work around distracting noise levels.
Must meet ITAR eligibility requirements as a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or otherwise be able to obtain required authorization.
