Description

  • Own the end-to-end security design for the data mesh and ensure alignment with internal bank policies and external regulations such as DORA and ECB requirements.
  • Evaluate current and future architectures against non-functional security requirements including encryption, access control, and logging.
  • Document security status, propose technical alternatives, and perform formal risk assessments for areas that do not comply with requirements.
  • Design and audit network segmentation for hybrid cloud-to-on-prem environments, including VNETs, subnets, and firewall rules.
  • Secure high-velocity data streams and pipelines involving Kafka, Data Lake, DWH, and CDC from Flexcube.
  • Develop and maintain security patterns and standards that help product teams build securely with minimal manual oversight.
  • Provide expert guidance on the scope of penetration testing and justify when tests are necessary or can be excluded based on the threat landscape.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in security architecture, with a focus on complex, distributed data platforms.
  • Proven experience designing end-to-end security architectures aligned with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with network and infrastructure security.
  • Experience developing and implementing security standards, patterns, and best practices for autonomous secure development.
  • Experience working in a regulated industry, preferably banking or finance.
  • Fluent English.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud and on-prem environments is preferred.
  • Experience with data streaming and data platform technologies such as Kafka, Data Lake, DWH, or CDC is beneficial.
