Description

  • Lead one or multiple full-stack development teams through the full development lifecycle from requirements to deployment, ensuring deliverables are met.
  • Own and oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation through building, deploying, and continual improvement.
  • Grow the team by defining hiring needs, sourcing and assessing candidates, and expanding team capacity.
  • Define and execute growth and development plans for individual team members, including mentoring and coaching.
  • Hold the team accountable for delivery, timelines, and quality of work.
  • Shape and support a team culture focused on continual improvement, learning, and engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Design to align on feature specifications and priorities.
  • Facilitate definition of project scope, deliverables, and goals, and generate ideas for new initiatives.
  • Take initiative to produce timely results in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment.

Requirements

  • BS degree or equivalent from a fully accredited college or university preferred (technical field a bonus).
  • 5+ years of experience designing, building, and operating scalable, mission-critical systems.
  • 4+ years of experience managing engineering teams.
  • Experience hiring, training, motivating, monitoring, and coaching team members.
  • Experience with Agile SDLC methodologies.
  • Demonstrated willingness to roll up your sleeves, collaborate with others, and get things done.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and ownership; ability to drive initiatives from inception to completion and hold others accountable.
  • Understanding of blockchain fundamentals and distributed ledger technologies (nice to have).
  • Hands-on experience working with digital assets (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum, stablecoins) or exposure to crypto-native products (nice to have).
  • Experience integrating with or building services using crypto infrastructure providers (e.g., Fireblocks, Zero Hash, Anchorage) or familiarity with custody/settlement/clearing and crypto regulatory environments (nice to have).
