Description

  • Design, develop, and test high-quality Flutter mobile features and components.
  • Translate product requirements and user stories into maintainable mobile implementations.
  • Support delivery of medium-to-large features from development through release.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to ship growth initiatives.
  • Participate in code reviews and design discussions to improve team quality and consistency.
  • Identify opportunities to improve mobile reliability, performance, and developer experience.
  • Take initiative and deliver timely results in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Generate ideas for new initiatives and technologies and help bring mobile product ideas to fruition.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, ideally in a technical field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • 2+ years of mobile programming experience (iOS, Android, or Flutter).
  • 1+ years of programming experience with the Flutter framework.
  • Strong understanding of mobile frameworks and client-server architectural patterns.
  • Strong sense of ownership and ability to drive a project from inception to completion.
  • Pragmatic approach to balancing tech debt against shipping new features.
  • Full-stack experience including mobile client databases and local storage such as SQLite or Core Data (preferred).
  • Experience contributing to shared mobile libraries or components (preferred).
  • Experience with experimentation-heavy products and mobile product launches to a large audience (preferred).
  • Familiarity with mobile performance tuning and instrumentation (preferred).
