Description

  • Build, maintain, and enhance financial models for the Crypto business to support monthly, quarterly, and long-range forecasts.
  • Identify, track, and report on critical business drivers and unit economics for digital asset products.
  • Perform deep-dive monthly variance analysis (Actuals vs. Budget) and communicate root causes and implications to Finance leadership.
  • Create ROI models and sensitivity analyses to evaluate new crypto product launches and feature sets.
  • Partner with Data Science and Engineering to automate crypto-native data pipelines and transition reporting from manual spreadsheets to scalable BI tools (e.g., Tableau).
  • Collaborate with Accounting and Risk teams to streamline month-end close processes and monitor regulatory capital requirements.
  • Provide on-the-ground financial visibility and analytics to support rapid scaling and decision-making in a fast-moving crypto environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a highly analytical environment (Investment Banking, Management Consulting, or Corporate FP&A/Strategic Finance).
  • Extensive experience with crypto and a solid understanding of crypto ecosystems and how those business models generate revenue.
  • Expert-level Excel skills with the ability to build complex, dynamic, auditable models from scratch.
  • Proficiency in, or a strong desire to learn, SQL to extract and manipulate data from internal databases.
  • Ability to pivot quickly in a startup-like environment while maintaining the professionalism expected at a public financial institution.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CFA or CPA is a plus.
  • Experience with crypto-native software (nice to have).
  • Previous experience in Fintech or a regulated financial services environment (nice to have).
  • Deep understanding of P&L dynamics (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with Tableau or other BI/reporting tools (preferred).
