Description

  • Lead the design, development, testing, and maintenance of frontend features for SmithRx web products.
  • Build and maintain design libraries in collaboration with UX designers and other frontend engineers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and technical leads to evaluate UI/UX feasibility and implementation approaches.
  • Write performant, decoupled, and scalable frontend code using best practices and design patterns.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
  • Mentor junior engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and project guidance.
  • Work with senior leadership to translate technical vision into a roadmap.
  • Promote a collaborative learning culture through knowledge sharing and exploration of new frameworks and paradigms.
  • Leverage CI/CD to iterate quickly on frontend delivery.

Requirements

  • BS or advanced degree in computer science.
  • 8+ years of software development experience working on web applications.
  • Expertise in JavaScript, React, GraphQL, HTML, CSS, and various frontend frameworks.
  • Proven experience in client-side software design and implementing reusable components.
  • Ability to work on features independently.
  • Successful history of leveraging AI for development.
  • Experience using Git in a professional environment.
  • Experience writing automated tests with frameworks such as Cypress or Selenium.
  • Some industry experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and a common cloud service provider.
  • Understanding of web application, SOA, and microservices patterns is a plus.
  • Experience at a high-growth startup is a plus.
