Description

  • Plan, develop, and maintain Help Center and internal product documentation.
  • Translate product specifications and technical details into clear customer-facing content.
  • Create technical articles, API documentation, eLearning content, internal documentation, and visual aids.
  • Produce video content, including scripting, recording, and light editing with stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Work with SMEs to ensure documentation accuracy.
  • Use AI tools to speed up content production and improve output quality.
  • Track assignments, manage schedules, and deliver work against hard deadlines.
  • Contribute to templates, processes, standards, and content governance improvements.
  • Review customer feedback and internal change requests and turn them into documentation updates.
  • Optimize content for search and support improvements to the Help site and publishing workflow.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience writing or editing web content for a variety of audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Communication, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong command of English, both written and spoken, at C1 level or above.
  • Basic ability to use HTML formatting.
  • Experience developing templates and processes to ensure consistent delivery.
  • Understanding of SEO and GEO best practices.
  • Experience using analytics tools such as Google Analytics to inform content decisions.
  • Ability to simplify technical jargon into clear, customer-focused language.
  • Familiarity with video content production, including scripting, screen recording, or light editing.
  • Experience creating screenshots or visual diagrams to explain complex ideas.
  • Strong organizational skills with basic project management and prioritization ability.
  • Experience moving content from draft to CMS publication.
  • Experience using one or more content management systems; Drupal 9 or newer is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience using AI tools in professional workflows, including custom AI configurations and connecting LLMs to external platforms.
  • A point of view on how AI is changing technical writing and an interest in expanding AI use in content workflows.
  • Smartsheet Product Certification is preferred but not required.
  • Must reside in Costa Rica and be eligible for remote work within Costa Rica.
