Description

  • Create motion graphics, animation, and live-action video content that brings the Smartsheet brand to life.
  • Produce and coordinate video projects with internal teams, customers, and agency partners from concept through delivery.
  • Work with stakeholders on scripts and storyboards and translate feedback for animators, editors, and vendors.
  • Maintain a high standard of polish and attention to detail across marketing video assets for campaigns, social media, events, and sales collateral.
  • Ensure video work aligns with target audience needs and brand guidelines.
  • Participate in planning and objective setting for video initiatives.
  • Support other studio duties as needed to help projects succeed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience producing and editing content in a marketing or creative environment, ideally in technology or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop.
  • Strong emphasis on motion graphics animation and willingness to learn adjacent tools and plug-ins such as Eleven Labs, Figma, Canva, and Firefly.
  • Deep understanding of video production workflows, audio recording and mixing, and YouTube best practices.
  • Experience working closely with executives and business leaders to build internal partnerships.
  • A portfolio or body of work demonstrating strong storytelling, scrappy problem-solving, and high-end production value.
  • Bachelor’s degree, relevant certification, or equivalent experience in Film, Animation, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Must reside in Costa Rica and be eligible for remote work within Costa Rica.
  • Must have an active passport and valid U.S. visa for occasional international travel up to 10% of the time.
