Description

  • Modernize legacy Python AWS Lambda microservices by understanding existing code and rebuilding services using the modern SDK.
  • Design, implement, and maintain new Python Lambda microservices and extend TypeScript data pipelines to support rewritten ingestion capabilities.
  • Rewrite the initial part of the data pipeline to support high-throughput analysis and processing.
  • Build and maintain extensive unit test suites and automated test coverage to ensure reliability and long-term maintainability.
  • Improve observability, monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting for conversations flowing through the platform to enable fast diagnosis of issues.
  • Contribute to the Q2 2026 initiative to rebuild the phone and web applications to surface more meaningful conversation insights.
  • Work effectively within a small team, delivering work independently and collaboratively as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Technical BA and other stakeholders to refine tickets, clarify requirements, and ensure features meet specifications.
  • Deliver scalable, maintainable solutions aligned with platform goals and engineering best practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Python (mandatory).
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with TypeScript (core skill; exceptional candidates may be considered without it).
  • Strong experience in full-stack development with a backend focus and working with serverless/microservice architectures.
  • Proven ability to work with and modernize legacy codebases into scalable, maintainable solutions.
  • Strong unit testing skills and experience building reliable automated test coverage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset and the ability to balance collaboration with independent delivery.
  • Willingness to work fixed shifts: 12:00 PM–9:30 PM IST (summer) or 1:00 PM–10:30 PM IST (winter).
  • Nice to have: 2+ years of experience with React (Vue acceptable) and 1+ year of experience or exposure to AI/LLM-related development.
  • Nice to have: 2+ years of experience with AWS (Azure or GCP acceptable), experience improving observability in production, and experience with ingestion pipelines, data processing workflows, or high-throughput systems.
