Description

  • Take ownership of the technical direction and engineering delivery for the app and platform.
  • Lead end-to-end development of new features across iOS and Android mobile applications and backend services.
  • Maintain and improve existing workflows, fix bugs, and ensure a stable user experience.
  • Translate the CEO’s product vision into practical, scalable technical solutions.
  • Work closely with the CEO and other contributors while operating autonomously.
  • Immerse yourself in the product, users, and problem space to improve the solution and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Balance front-end and back-end development responsibilities roughly 50/50.
  • Use modern development tooling, including AI-assisted coding tools, to move quickly while maintaining quality.
  • Help lay the foundations for future engineering practices as the team expands.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional development experience, with the ability to operate at a senior or lead level in a startup environment.
  • Strong mobile app development experience for both iOS and Android, with production-ready delivery experience.
  • Demonstrated ownership of product development from a technical perspective, including feature delivery, refinement, and bug fixing.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools such as Replit or similar vibe/AI coding platforms.
  • Strong product mindset focused on user value and business outcomes.
  • Genuine passion and commitment to the product, its users, and long-term success.
  • Comfort working in an early-stage startup with ambiguity, pace, and evolving priorities.
  • Experience with AI coding tools beyond Replit, or interest in emerging AI-assisted development workflows (preferred).
  • Previous exposure to early-stage startups or experience as an early technical hire (preferred).
  • Interest in growing into a broader leadership role as the company scales, potentially including equity participation (preferred).
