Description

Own standardized maintenance processes for inspections, servicing, component replacement, and complex repairs.
Translate engineering intent into technician-ready service workflows.
Validate workflows through field pilots and technician feedback before broader deployment.
Partner with Hardware Engineering, Reliability, Tooling, and Operations to improve service processes and design for maintainability.
Apply lean methods, error-proofing, and automation opportunities to reduce variation and improve efficiency.
Establish process controls for work instructions, visual aids, and process changes.
Work with training leadership to embed approved process changes into technician training materials.
Define and monitor process KPIs with Data and Reliability.
Prioritize corrective actions that improve safety, maintenance quality, technician adoption, and efficiency.

Requirements

4-6 years of experience in mechanical or mechatronic design.
Experience translating technical designs into service, maintenance, or operational processes.
Experience developing, documenting, or validating maintenance workflows or technical procedures with frontline users.
Ability to investigate process failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar tools.
Experience applying GD&T and technical drawing best practices.
Clear technical communication skills.
Willingness to travel up to 25% for field process validation and collaboration.
