Description

  • Build, launch, and iterate on experiments to improve subscription attach rate, retention, and related growth metrics across product surfaces.
  • Implement new features and UI flows in the Shopify + Hydrogen e-commerce site and React Native app with a high standard for quality and user experience.
  • Evaluate, implement, and configure A/B testing and experimentation tools for the Growth Pod.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional growth partners to move quickly from hypothesis to live test.
  • Write high-quality, reusable, and maintainable code and contribute to a comprehensive test suite.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve team output.
  • Help establish processes for monitoring performance, experiment results, and health metrics.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with TypeScript and React, with meaningful production work in React Native and/or a modern e-commerce frontend stack.
  • Experience with Shopify, especially Hydrogen, is highly preferred.
  • Genuine interest in growth engineering and understanding the business outcomes of your work.
  • Comfort with A/B testing concepts and strong respect for statistical rigor.
  • Strong understanding of frontend architecture and design patterns.
  • High standards for code quality and user experience.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously on a small, scrappy team.
