Description

  • Monitor and manage aged receivables reports, including follow-up on overdue premiums, adjustments, and returned payments.
  • Provide professional, high-touch customer service while pursuing outstanding balances.
  • Communicate with clients by phone and email to secure timely payment on overdue accounts.
  • Handle sensitive collection conversations with tact and compassion.
  • Research delinquent accounts and maintain accurate, timely billing-related correspondence.
  • Manage escalated collections cases and use sound judgment to resolve issues.
  • Escalate larger or problematic accounts to firm leadership as needed.

Requirements

  • Detail-oriented and organized approach to accounts receivable work.
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage sensitive conversations tactfully and compassionately.
  • Sound judgment in resolving escalated collections issues.
  • Ability to research delinquent accounts and maintain accurate billing correspondence.
  • Bachelor’s degree or prior accounts receivable/collections experience not specified in the posting.
  • Experience in insurance, premiums, or technical accounting operations preferred.
  • Must not require employment visa sponsorship or transfer, as SiriusPoint is unable to sponsor at this time.
