Description

  • Design and implement robust, scalable systems that support projects across multiple countries.
  • Design, build and integrate biometric solutions with mobile applications and cloud services.
  • Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, product managers, field teams, partners, and researchers to develop reliable, maintainable, and high-performing software.
  • Translate complex field user needs into intuitive, impactful product solutions through human-centered design.
  • Drive cross-company product development to accelerate delivery of user-focused features and products.
  • Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and guidance to ensure user success and adoption in the field.
  • Optimize systems to function effectively in environments with unreliable internet and limited infrastructure.
  • Participate in decision-making and project implementation to ensure technology aligns with real-world challenges.

Requirements

  • Open to professionals at all levels across software engineering, product management, UX/UI, and data science / AI/ML roles.
  • Experience in software engineering disciplines such as front-end, back-end, full-stack, DevOps, or mobile development (role-dependent).
  • Experience or interest in product management, technical or non-technical, and human-centered design.
  • Experience working with biometrics, mobile applications, and cloud services is desirable.
  • Experience in international development, social impact tech, or working with NGOs is a strong plus.
  • Ability to design and build reliable systems that operate in low-infrastructure, intermittent-connectivity environments.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills to work with field teams, partners, and researchers.
  • Passion for using technology for social impact and willingness to join a talent pool by submitting a CV.
