Description

  • Lead and manage an assigned Specialty Liaison team supporting specialty clinics.
  • Coach, develop, and performance-manage liaison staff to drive accountability and employee growth.
  • Provide ongoing feedback, training, and support to ensure best-practice execution.
  • Facilitate communication between liaisons, pharmacy teams, clinic teams, and Shields functional groups.
  • Meet or exceed site operational targets for clinic service, growth, patient satisfaction, and outcomes.
  • Identify, implement, and track improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and performance.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clinic leadership, pharmacy teams, and other health system stakeholders.
  • Ensure consistent coverage for Specialty Liaisons when team members are absent.
  • Oversee execution of key patient service functions including prior authorizations, financial assistance, refills, appointments, and outreach.
  • Partner with leadership, data analytics, and the Patient Support Center to address performance gaps and continuous improvement opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in a healthcare or pharmacy environment with direct patient and clinician contact required.
  • National Certification as a CPhT or equivalent, with prior experience as a licensed pharmacy technician preferred.
  • Experience in a retail, hospital, or provider setting communicating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals is a plus.
  • Experience in an outpatient or medical clinic setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Ability to quickly learn new programs and extract relevant information.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage individual performance against quantitative metrics without compromising clinical quality.
  • Patient-centered, high-integrity, dependable, and confidential when handling sensitive health information.
  • Ability to train, motivate, and lead a group of individuals while working collaboratively as a team.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $80,000 to $90,000 per year.
  • Eligibility for bonus compensation pursuant to the terms of the bonus plan, if applicable.
