Description

  • Set the architectural vision and roadmap for managed customer engagements and define where each solution is going and why.
  • Provide architectural continuity across the full engagement lifecycle and keep direction consistent through handoffs and phases.
  • Act as the architectural reference point for customers and internal teams on solution direction.
  • Identify and bring in the deep specialists needed for each engagement, or provide that depth personally where applicable.
  • Shape the transition from sales to delivery, including solution intent, staffing needs, and kickoff direction.
  • Partner with the Technical Program Manager on milestones, dependencies, service-level commitments, and escalations.
  • Review key technical decisions during delivery and keep implementation aligned to the roadmap and design.
  • Monitor architectural health across accounts and intervene early when solutions drift from the intended direction.
  • Lead solution design and contribute technical content to Statements of Work to ensure delivery starts with clear direction.
  • Build trusted relationships with technical and executive stakeholders and advise on change management for platform and process adoption.
  • Create reusable architecture and delivery assets, contribute to thought leadership content, and mentor Solution Architects, Delivery Leads, and consultants.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in technical consulting, solutions architecture, or delivery leadership, or 5 years of experience with a Master's degree.
  • A track record of shaping and directing complex, multi-workstream engagements in close partnership with program management.
  • Experience guiding customers through significant technology and process change, including change-management strategy.
  • Experience mentoring consultants or architects and knowing when to involve deep specialists.
  • Experience delivering enterprise Atlassian solutions with security, access-control, and governance requirements at scale.
  • Strong experience in one or more of the following: Enterprise Service Management, Delivery Governance, Enterprise Strategy & Planning, World-Class Software Development, Cloud Migration, or AI and the System of Work.
  • Relevant certifications in Enterprise Architecture, ITIL Expert, SAFe, DevOps, Prosci Change Management, or program/delivery management such as PMP, PRINCE2, or MSP.
  • Multiple Atlassian certifications, such as ACP or Atlassian Certified Master, are highly desirable.
  • Deep knowledge of Atlassian integrations, cloud architecture on AWS or Azure, SSO and identity management, APIs, and web technologies.
  • Ability to own the roadmap and architectural direction, make decisive calls, communicate clearly, and collaborate across technical and business stakeholders.
