Description

  • Plan test phases and design test concepts for software releases.
  • Design and execute manual tests across Core Banking products.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for UI, API, and SAP GUI testing.
  • Select appropriate automation frameworks and tools based on product needs.
  • Ensure test automation code follows clean coding, maintainability, and reusability principles.
  • Collaborate with developers and product owners to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
  • Analyze requirements and identify automation opportunities across the test pyramid.
  • Provide clear and actionable defect reports.
  • Support teams in integrating automated tests early and continuously into the software development lifecycle.
  • Enable fast and stable feedback cycles within CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
  • Hands-on experience with the Playwright automation framework.
  • Strong understanding of API testing and tools such as Bruno.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git and CI/CD tools.
  • Basic understanding of DevOps concepts and containerization, including Docker.
  • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, ISTQB principles, the test pyramid, and test design techniques.
  • Ability to define automation strategies aligned with business priorities.
  • Professional experience in software testing, quality engineering, or software development.
  • Experience with test automation in agile product development environments.
  • ISTQB certification or similar credentials are beneficial.
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
  • German language skills, both verbal and written, are nice to have.
