Description

  • Support supplier relationships to drive alignment on component pipeline and risk assessments.
  • Support new product introductions and cross-functional initiatives to optimize existing products and manufacturing partners.
  • Develop global sourcing strategies and identify and evaluate new supplier opportunities.
  • Collect quotes from suppliers, lead cost negotiations, and drive bottoms-up cost analysis and modeling for custom components.
  • Partner with cross-functional and systems teams to build supply chain integrations into the existing PLM system.
  • Support development and maintenance of supply chain spend analytics processes and systems.
  • Conduct market research on business trends, industry changes, cost drivers, global pricing, and market conditions.
  • Drive collaboration between cross-functional stakeholders to identify cost savings by optimizing design, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Manage manufacturing partner escalations and support project execution to deliver sourcing outcomes.

Requirements

  • Actively pursuing an MBA or a Master’s degree in Business, Engineering Management, Supply Chain, Operations, or a similar field, graduating in Spring 2027.
  • Eligible only for first-year MBA students or first-year Master’s students (no undergraduates); must have at least 2+ years of work experience prior to starting the Master’s/MBA.
  • BS in a relevant technical field (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering) preferred.
  • Must be located in the US (remote role) but this posting excludes residents of Alaska, Austin metro, California, Chicago metro, Connecticut, Dallas metro, Denver metro, Houston metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Washington state, and Washington, D.C. metro.
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights and craft executive presentations.
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail, prioritization, and triage of complicated issues.
  • Ability to develop strategic insights and identify market trends.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, creative, and strong critical problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous settings and to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Preferred experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or planning, and experience or familiarity with PLM/system integrations is a plus.
