Description

  • Annotate text, video, and geographic data accurately and consistently according to predefined guidelines.
  • Perform basic research to support accurate data annotation.
  • Evaluate and curate data as part of the model training workflow.
  • Provide feedback on patterns observed in the annotated data to help improve the annotation process.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and quality throughout the work.
  • Adapt to changing tasks and continue learning as processes evolve.
  • Ask questions and provide feedback to support accuracy and workflow improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Excellent comprehension and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work full time from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST.
  • Familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets, including basic formulas.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to understand and follow instructions.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work reliably.
  • Must successfully pass a client exam and interview with the hiring team.
  • A personal laptop or desktop is required to access RWS systems.
  • Previous experience in data annotation or content review is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the Appen Annotation Platform (ADAP) and machine learning principles is preferred.
  • Additional language knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience in a professional work environment is preferred.
  • A broad range of interests with specific areas of expertise is a plus.
