Description

  • Annotate text, video, and geographic data accurately and consistently according to predefined guidelines.
  • Perform basic research to support accurate annotation decisions.
  • Evaluate and curate data for use in AI and machine learning model training.
  • Provide feedback on patterns observed in annotated data to improve the annotation process.
  • Maintain high attention to detail and quality throughout the work.
  • Continuously learn and adapt to changing guidelines and tasks.
  • Ask questions and communicate issues or ambiguities as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Must be located in one of the following US states: CA, CO, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, MA, MN, NC, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NY, OK, OR, PA, TN, TX, WA, or WI.
  • Ability to work full time from 8 AM to 5 PM PST, Monday through Friday, with no exceptions.
  • Excellent comprehension and written communication skills in English.
  • Additional language knowledge is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets, including basic formulas.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to understand and follow instructions.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work reliably.
  • Previous experience in data annotation or content review is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the Appen Annotation Platform (ADAP) and machine learning principles is preferred.
