Description

  • Provide technical leadership and direction in developing and positioning Rubrik’s cloud-native data protection solutions for Cloud Unstructured Data and Universal Cloud Licensing platforms.
  • Serve as a trusted public cloud technology advisor to customers and prospects and represent Rubrik’s cloud capabilities to key accounts.
  • Lead technical sales calls, demos, and proofs of concept, gathering and analyzing customer feedback and identifying product and market trends.
  • Qualify sales opportunities against customer technical requirements, competitive landscape, decision-making processes, and funding.
  • Build, evangelize, position, and architect Rubrik’s cloud data management and security platform for enterprise, mid-market, and SMB customers.
  • Maintain a consistent cadence with product management to align product roadmaps with customer demands and provide customer-driven input.
  • Develop and review marketing and sales collateral to ensure technical accuracy and alignment with customer needs.
  • Develop and deliver technical enablement to Rubrik’s internal teams, channel partners, and alliance partner sales architects.
  • Drive cross-functional adoption of Rubrik’s cloud-native protection technologies across the company and the public cloud ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales engineering experience in Cloud and/or Unstructured Data environments with a proven track record of success.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure (experience with AWS, GCP, private cloud, and/or security solutions is preferred).
  • Fundamental breadth of technical knowledge in cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery, and data analytics.
  • Proven ability to lead technical pre-sales activities and be accountable for product line revenue goals.
  • Experience working with CxO-level personnel and strong business acumen to align technology with business challenges.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, including handling multiple calls/demos per day with immediate follow-up.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong work ethic, resourcefulness, and a results-driven, hands-on approach.
  • Adaptable, open-minded, and highly energetic with a demonstrated drive for success.

Benefits

  • US base salary range $140,000 — $175,000 USD (new hire range; offer varies by location, skills, and experience).
  • Eligible to earn commissions pursuant to the company’s written Incentive Compensation Plan.
