Description

  • Provide technical leadership and direction to customers and internal sales staff for pre-sales activities in the assigned UK Public Sector market.
  • Evangelize, position, and architect Rubrik’s Data Resilience, Observability, and Remediation solutions for new and existing customers.
  • Drive pipeline generation and qualify sales opportunities by partnering closely with Account Executives on discovery, white space/expansion, and new prospects.
  • Deliver customer-facing technical presentations, demonstrations, proofs-of-concept (POCs), and run technical sales calls and whiteboarding/discovery sessions.
  • Analyze, design, and develop fully integrated technology solutions that meet customers’ technical and business requirements.
  • Serve as a trusted technology advisor and internal subject-matter resource on Rubrik products, distributed architectures, file systems, and competitive storage offerings.
  • Build and maintain relationships with account teams, partners, and customer stakeholders, including CxO-level personnel, and engage corporate resources as needed.
  • Qualify opportunities for technical fit, competition, decision-making process, and funding; follow up promptly after calls/demos to advance deals.

Requirements

  • Ideally 5+ years of sales engineering experience, preferably in cloud infrastructure, SaaS security, or data center environments.
  • Strong expertise in Azure (priority) and/or AWS, with familiarity in cloud data management.
  • Knowledge or experience in backup, disaster recovery, and cyber resiliency (preferred).
  • Proven ability to run demos and POCs, handle multiple calls/demos per day, and perform immediate follow-up.
  • High level of business acumen and experience engaging with CxO-level personnel to map technology to business challenges.
  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills; able to engage both technical staff and senior executives.
  • Self-starter with a driven, energetic, hands-on, and entrepreneurial “get it done” approach.
  • Adaptable, resourceful, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ideally a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Public Sector experience is a plus but not required; role is remote-eligible (#LI-REMOTE).
