Description

  • Design, plan, and oversee end-to-end manual and automated testing strategies across the software development lifecycle.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts and frameworks, while also performing detailed manual testing.
  • Identify, document, track, and communicate defects clearly to support efficient resolution.
  • Serve as the senior point of contact for quality-related matters and lead a team of QA engineers and analysts.
  • Lead client discussions on quality standards, test results, and defect management, translating technical findings into business recommendations.
  • Architect and refine test strategies, including risk-based testing, regression testing, and automation coverage.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure quality objectives are met.
  • Mentor junior QA staff and promote a culture of quality and continuous process improvement.
  • Stay current with emerging testing tools and methodologies and advocate for improvements in QA practices.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in software quality assurance and quality control.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a senior or lead QA role.
  • Proven hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing, including automation frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and regression suites for complex systems.
  • Strong track record of identifying, isolating, and documenting critical bugs and edge cases with attention to detail.
  • Experience leading and mentoring QA teams in Agile or hybrid development environments.
  • Excellent communication skills for leading difficult client and stakeholder conversations.
  • Proficiency with bug tracking and test management tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of automated testing tools and scripting languages.
  • Deep understanding of the software development life cycle, QA methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience with version control systems.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is a plus.
  • Experience in regulated industries or with enterprise-scale projects is preferred.
  • Exposure to performance, security, or usability testing is preferred.
