Description

  • Lead the technical design and development of the portal as the Optimizely subject matter expert.
  • Collaborate with the Solutions Architect and Dev Lead to define a robust, scalable architecture.
  • Guide the development team on Optimizely best practices and implementation standards.
  • Work with the Senior Project Manager, Product Owner, and Scrum Master to align delivery across project components.
  • Optimize portal performance to meet technical and business benchmarks.
  • Oversee testing and quality assurance to ensure alignment with project quality standards.
  • Communicate technical updates, risks, and progress to project stakeholders.
  • Stay current on Optimizely features and industry trends and apply improvements to the project.
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members on Optimizely capabilities.
  • Identify technical risks and support mitigation planning and execution.
  • Serve as the primary technical contact for Optimizely and manage vendor relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience with the Optimizely platform, including CMS and Commerce.
  • Proven track record as a Technical Lead on large-scale web portal projects.
  • Strong understanding of web technologies including .NET, C#, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, and cloud platforms.
  • Experience working in Agile environments with Scrum teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Optimizely certification, such as Optimizely Developer Certification, is highly desirable.
  • Experience integrating third-party services and APIs within the Optimizely platform.
  • Experience driving innovative solutions to improve user experience and business value.
  • Ability to work as a technical liaison with vendors and external platform support teams.
