Description

  • Maintain and operate secure cloud infrastructure, with a focus on AWS and cloud-native technologies.
  • Secure cloud-native applications by automating security assessments and integrating security into the development lifecycle.
  • Implement security controls for cloud workloads and data across containers, virtual machines, and serverless architectures.
  • Lead security hardening for Kubernetes clusters and other cloud-native environments.
  • Partner with infrastructure, product security, security engineering, and engineering teams on secure platform solutions.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and deployment processes with security built in.
  • Build automation to improve security operations and reduce manual effort.
  • Contribute to incident response, including detection, analysis, containment, recovery, and prevention.
  • Ensure cloud environments align with SOC 2, HIPAA, HITRUST, and related compliance and data governance requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance on cloud security best practices.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in cloud security engineering and architecture.
  • Advanced expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Deep understanding of cloud security principles and cloud-native security tools at scale.
  • Extensive knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, IAM, encryption, and DLP.
  • Experience with CSPM, CNAPPs, CWPPs, and DSPM tools.
  • Experience securing containers, serverless architectures, and virtual machines.
  • Advanced experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Pulumi.
  • Experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
  • High proficiency in programming or scripting languages for security automation.
  • Experience reviewing SaaS product architecture and supporting infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, HITRUST, CIS, and NIST 800-53 compliance standards.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with experience collaborating across cross-functional teams.
