Description

  • Partner with senior executives to shape strategic messaging and executive voice across internal and external channels.
  • Develop executive communications such as company updates, leadership messaging, keynote speeches, talking points, organizational announcements, quarterly business communications, and employee engagement content.
  • Create messaging frameworks, communication strategies, and narrative approaches that help leaders explain complex business priorities.
  • Support executive visibility and thought leadership through contributed content, speaking opportunities, executive social content, blogs, and industry engagement.
  • Draft executive-ready communications and presentations tailored to different audiences and organizational priorities.
  • Collaborate with People, Marketing, and cross-functional stakeholders on internal communications that support culture, engagement, and alignment.
  • Support communications for business updates, organizational changes, transformation initiatives, tentpole events, and cultural programs.
  • Serve as a primary liaison for external PR agencies and communications partners.
  • Coordinate executive approvals, stakeholder coordination, briefing materials, messaging reviews, and other communications workflows.
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to improve content development, research, communication workflows, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in executive communications, corporate communications, public relations, journalism, strategic communications, or related fields.
  • Based in Dallas, TX and available to work closely with the CEO and executive leadership team in person, including from the Dallas office as business needs require.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling, and messaging skills with the ability to adapt tone and voice across executives, audiences, and channels.
  • Experience supporting senior executives within fast-paced, high-growth, matrixed, or technology-driven organizations.
  • Strong executive presence and strategic thinking skills with the ability to influence and partner effectively with leadership teams.
  • Ability to translate complex business priorities and ambiguous topics into clear, compelling narratives and communication strategies.
  • Experience managing agency relationships, communications workflows, and cross-functional stakeholder coordination.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of media, communications, and industry landscapes.
  • Ability to operate independently, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and exercise sound judgment under pressure.
  • Demonstrated AI fluency with experience leveraging AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to improve content development and communications workflows.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, English, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in executive communications, corporate affairs, public relations, journalism, or strategic communications preferred.
  • Experience supporting C-level executives and enterprise leadership teams preferred.
  • Background within SaaS, technology, e-commerce, marketplace, or high-growth organizations preferred.
  • Experience writing keynote speeches, executive presentations, organizational announcements, and leadership communications preferred.
  • Familiarity with executive social strategy, thought leadership programs, and external executive visibility initiatives preferred.
  • Travel required: up to 10%.

  • Expected base pay range of $100,000 to $155,000 per year.
