Description

  • Process and issue high volumes of Certificates of Insurance (COIs), including lender, vendor, and contractual requests.
  • Review contractual insurance requirements and verify certificates against policy terms.
  • Interpret E&S commercial insurance policies, including coverage, limits, endorsements, and exclusions.
  • Ensure accurate additional insured, waiver of subrogation, and primary/non-contributory wording.
  • Service commercial accounts across General Liability, Property, Umbrella/Excess, Auto, Workers’ Compensation, and ancillary coverages.
  • Maintain policy and certificate data in agency management systems.
  • Request endorsements, policy changes, audits, and loss runs from carriers.
  • Support renewals by organizing exposure data and policy documentation.
  • Respond to client, lender, and property manager inquiries professionally and promptly.
  • Review documents for accuracy, escalate discrepancies, and follow agency workflows and compliance standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Active Texas General Lines Property & Casualty insurance license.
  • Experience reading and interpreting E&S commercial insurance policies.
  • Demonstrated experience issuing Certificates of Insurance.
  • One year of experience in an insurance agency, brokerage, or related insurance role preferred.
  • Understanding of commercial insurance terminology and coverage concepts.
  • Strong attention to detail when issuing COIs and maintaining policy documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume, deadline-driven workload.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, and ability to learn agency management systems and carrier portals.
