Description

  • Set the product strategy, vision, and roadmap in alignment with commercial objectives and long-term business goals.
  • Contribute to executive-level business direction, including build/buy/ally decisions.
  • Ensure the voice of the customer shapes internal and external communications and executive discussions.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing on go-to-market strategy, including packaging, messaging, pricing, and partnerships.
  • Implement modern agile product development processes and balance long-term vision with short-term commercial priorities.
  • Advise leadership on AML/FinCrime regulations, typologies, sanctions, PEPs, adverse media, and risk-based compliance frameworks.
  • Translate regulatory changes such as 6AMLD, AMLA, and FATF updates into product enhancements and future product vision.
  • Collaborate with Data Science and Engineering on AI model and workflow development for financial crime use cases.
  • Build and scale the Product Management and UX functions to support global business needs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor in client engagements, workshops, proof-of-concepts, and major renewals, while contributing thought leadership content and industry events.

Requirements

  • Experience building and leading a strong product function and driving a product-led culture, ideally in an Enterprise SaaS, platform, or data-heavy technology company.
  • Experience in AML compliance, risk management, or financial crime prevention within a Tier 1/2 bank or leading RegTech provider.
  • Applied knowledge of global AML frameworks, sanctions, PEP screening, adverse media, and FATF standards.
  • Proven ability to translate complex regulations into successful commercial products.
  • Experience working in or serving the Banking and Financial Services sector on financial crime and data analytics solutions.
  • Experience operating in an environment with ML/AI components in product development.
  • Familiarity with API-enabled, modular SaaS compliance software solutions is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Confident public speaking ability and credibility with teams, founders, investors, and C-suite clients.
