Description

  • Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, and remote access, handling everything from basic troubleshooting to advanced escalations.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues across multiple client environments.
  • Perform Office 365 and Windows (client/server) administration, including user account management and access provisioning.
  • Support and troubleshoot VOIP systems (e.g., 3CX) and related telephony issues.
  • Manage and maintain RMM and PSA tools (e.g., Datto, Halo) to monitor client systems and track tickets.
  • Lead or assist with IT projects such as cloud migrations, system upgrades, deployments, and process automation.
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks and streamline operations.
  • Identify and implement solutions to reduce recurring issues and improve operational efficiency.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance to improve team troubleshooting skills; document issues and resolutions and communicate with clients and vendors to ensure smooth delivery.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in an MSP environment is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, able to converse comfortably with clients without being overly formal or technical.
  • Demonstrable experience with Windows client/server systems and Office 365 administration.
  • Proficiency in advanced troubleshooting methodologies for complex technical issues.
  • PowerShell scripting skills to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Experience with VOIP systems and a solid understanding of network infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with RMM and PSA platforms used in MSPs (e.g., Datto, Halo).
  • Experience with Office 365 and Azure or demonstrable skills in a similar cloud environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, follow-through, proactive problem-solving mindset, and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Ability to take ownership of difficult tasks, set expectations, and learn or figure out unfamiliar technologies when needed.
