Description

  • Monitor Mason’s handling of active work orders to verify troubleshooting guidance, vendor coordination, and resident communication.
  • Inject corrections, clarifications, and additional instructions when AI responses need human judgment.
  • Track work orders from open through completion to ensure nothing stalls or is missed.
  • Identify recurring work order issues, vendor performance patterns, and other operational insights for the PM team.
  • Create and refine prompts to improve Mason’s performance across different work order scenarios.
  • Develop a practical understanding of Mason’s strengths and limitations to know when to intervene.
  • Communicate directly with residents about work order status, scheduling, troubleshooting follow-up, and resolution.
  • Handle resident concerns with professionalism and empathy, escalating issues to the Property Manager when needed.
  • Support owner communications only as directed by the PM and keep the PM team informed of developing issues.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of maintenance coordination experience in a property management environment.
  • Experience managing 200 or more work orders per month.
  • Strong problem-solving and independent thinking skills.
  • Ability to evaluate AI-generated troubleshooting guidance for accuracy and completeness.
  • Strong written and oral English communication skills.
  • Comfort working with AI tools and technology; prior experience with AI agents or prompt writing is a plus.
  • Self-directed and reliable in a remote work environment.
  • Prior experience with AI-assisted property management or maintenance platforms is preferred.
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering or structured communication with AI tools is preferred.
  • Background in residential property management across single-family or multifamily portfolios is preferred.
  • This is a full-time role.
  • Compensation is $6-$7 per hour depending on experience.
  • 100% remote work environment.
