Description

  • Oversee Thrust Integration Operations on second shift to ensure Terran-R hardware is produced safely, on time, and to quality standards.
  • Lead and develop a team of integration technicians, supporting their skills growth and career progression.
  • Partner with manufacturing engineering, planning, supply chain, and quality teams to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Drive production schedules and daily production visibility to ensure on-time completion of flight hardware.
  • Identify and resolve production bottlenecks to keep manufacturing on track.
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Influence vehicle design by interfacing with the vehicle engineering team on manufacturing needs.
  • Translate engineering requirements into optimized production processes and lines.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace, automotive, or other high-reliability manufacturing environments.
  • 2+ years of leadership, lead, or supervisory experience overseeing production technicians or operators.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes such as assembly, integration, and testing.
  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to drive accountability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work second shift, from 3:30 PM PST to 2:00 AM PST.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous leadership experience in aerospace or space hardware production preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, MES, or digital factory tools preferred.
  • Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement training/certifications preferred.
