Description

  • Lead modeling for acquisitions, spin-offs, IPOs, and other liquidity events across the incubation portfolio.
  • Conduct comparable company research and analysis to benchmark performance and support M&A, fundraising, and strategic planning.
  • Build, own, and manage financial models for incubations, including scenario planning and cash planning.
  • Monitor unit economics and core performance metrics such as ROI, gross margins, and CAC/LTV.
  • Partner with sales, operations, and technical teams to evaluate and improve business economics.
  • Prepare investment committee and investor materials with the Director of Finance and incubation leadership.
  • Support decision making by analyzing key business drivers and translating findings into planning inputs.
  • Work across multiple incubations at once across different industries and stages.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in strategic finance, investment banking, or FP&A.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a similar field.
  • Location based on the U.S. east coast or ability to work East Coast hours.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to influence at all levels of the organization and work effectively in a team.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to think objectively and interpret quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate data into actionable information.
  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Creative, highly driven, and self-motivated.
  • Discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Experience in a highly visible role supporting fundraising or M&A is preferred.
