Description

  • Review entity submissions to confirm customer details match the information provided and that all questions have been answered fully and correctly.
  • Verify that supporting documentation is in the correct format, accurate, and current within acceptable timeframes.
  • Check and reconcile financial information, including entity names, reporting periods, complete statements, notes, and reconciliation of balance sheet, income, expenses, and accounts across periods.
  • Read notes, accountant statements, and auditor reports to ensure a complete understanding of the financial statements.
  • Identify missing data, discrepancies, concerns, and key points relevant to the assessment and escalate them clearly.
  • Extract relevant pages from financial statements and upload financial information to the digital platform.
  • Map income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and equity accounts into the correct fields for assessment.
  • Complete Google Sheets used to upload and track assessment information.
  • Request clarifications and additional information from entities and related contacts by email with clear context and detail.
  • Communicate relevant issues and concerns to the analyst team so the assessor is fully informed.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret financial statements.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple submissions simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Experience reviewing UK financial statements or documentation preferred.
  • Experience in quality assurance processes preferred.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Collaborative team member who supports others when required.
