Description

  • Build and own core member-facing iOS features from concept through production.
  • Establish architectural patterns and solve complex client-side lifecycle and state-management challenges.
  • Partner with backend engineers on API design, data correctness, and client-server state synchronization.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and data science to scope, experiment with, and launch features.
  • Improve interaction quality, motion, performance, testing practices, and technical-debt management across the iOS codebase.
  • Own production health for core flows, including monitoring, crash triage, and release quality.
  • Raise engineering standards through code reviews, mentorship, and clear written specifications.
  • Help adopt AI coding tools and improve the engineering development environment.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional iOS development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Swift, UIKit, and MVVM.
  • Experience with RxSwift or similar reactive programming frameworks.
  • Track record of shipping consumer mobile applications to large audiences.
  • Strong judgment in iOS architecture, performance, and user experience.
  • Ability to lead projects from concept through launch and maintain ownership after release.
  • Strong product and design sensibility with experience partnering across product, design, and data teams.
  • Daily use of AI coding tools and experience helping teams adopt them.
  • Experience with StoreKit 2, subscriptions, paywalls or pricing experiments, and subscription analytics (preferred).
  • Experience with Mapbox, complex map interfaces, SwiftUI, modular iOS architectures, backend development, or Redux-style state management (preferred).
