Description

  • Design and deploy data protection strategies across data lakes, cloud storage, and corporate SaaS environments.
  • Lead the implementation and tuning of DSPM tools to discover, classify, and monitor sensitive data continuously.
  • Partner with Data Engineering and Machine Learning teams to embed security controls into ETLs and data pipelines.
  • Implement data masking, anonymization, and tokenization before data reaches non-production environments.
  • Architect and manage the DLP ecosystem, including alert triage, false-positive reduction, and incident response automation.
  • Write Python or API-based automation scripts and integrate them with SOAR platforms.
  • Enforce data sharing, encryption, and retention policies across cloud platforms using Infrastructure as Code.
  • Translate privacy and compliance frameworks such as LGPD and GDPR into technical controls and guardrails.
  • Act as a technical bridge between Cybersecurity, Data Governance, Legal, and IT.

Requirements

  • Strong conceptual and practical knowledge of DLP, encryption, tokenization, hashing, and dynamic data masking.
  • Practical experience securing data lakes, data warehouses, and cloud-native storage in AWS or GCP.
  • Proficiency in Python or Bash to build automations, interact with APIs, and integrate security tools.
  • Comfort writing Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code to enforce security postures.
  • Strong ability to threat-model complex data flows and design pragmatic risk mitigations.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and advanced English.
  • Hands-on experience implementing DSPM platforms such as Cyera, Wiz, Securiti.ai, or BigID is preferred.
  • Background in Data Engineering or database administration is preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of applied cryptography and enterprise key management systems such as AWS KMS or HashiCorp Vault is preferred.
  • Experience using AI tools or LLMs to improve data classification or automate security tasks is preferred.
